Pharmacy profession is an essential and integral part of the National Health care System of a a country. A pharmacist is the only person who is in a unique position of exercising complete drug expertise and its application.

Keeping in view the growing demand and job opportunities at national and international level of pharmacy technician and the significance of this profession, AIMS has decided to undertake this noble task of offering Pharmacy Technician professional diploma which allow the diploma holders to open a Medical store. In this two year diploma course, students are required to study and have training in the subjects of pharmaceutics, hospital pharmacy, dispensing, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pharnmacognosy, microbiology and biochemistry.

It is also know to us that the education in pharmacy has no meaning without exposure of the students to the working conditions in the field. The practical training is an integral part of pharmacy education. For the purpose of training the students will be regularly visiting/ working at retail pharmacies, hospital and pharmaceutical industries.

Eligibility criteria

The students should has passed Matric with science subjects in order gain admission. There is no age limit in for admission in this course and students from all age group s are welcomed to apply.

The Institute also provides highly comfortable and safe environment for the female students. This is why the institute accommodates the highest number of female students than other institute of the same specialty.

Full time career counseling is available at the institute. After passing the exams the students are guided how to secure good jobs. Many of the hard working and brilliant student offered jobs during the course of practical and training and internship. The institute has been recognized by the Pharmacy council of Pakistan for conduction Pharmacy Technician course. After completion of the course a diploma is offered by the institute on the basis of which a student can apply for national and international jobs. A category (Category-B) is also granted by the provincial branch of the pharmacy council after conducting an exam. The students on the basis of this category can start their own retail (medical store) business.
